AUXILIARY POWER UNITS for CTRL

Complete Turn-Key system

Two auxiliary power units for running lighting systems and power tools were required by the maintenance teams for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

These were to include three-phase and single-phase power supply and compressed air supply.

The specification called for each unit to be mounted on a ten foot ISO twist-lock base, manufactured in-house, and to be fitted with error warning systems, fire protection system and work area lighting.

Thomson Rail Equipment Ltd was able to provide the entire unit as a turn-key system to a high quality and meeting all aspects of the specification.
