FIRE ESCAPE WITH LIFTING BEAM

Installed in just 5 hours!

Over ten tonnes of steel went into the construction of this fire escape which had to be designed from the outset for rapid installation.

The site, adjacent to a busy road, is the key UK facility for a major pharmaceutical company.  They required not only a fire escape but a system to lift process equipment and air conditioning plant onto the first floor landing and the roof.

The problem was that the road would have to be closed and the security fence breached in order to install the structure.

Our designers came up with the solution - a slot together design which could be installed very quickly, in fact the whole operation took approximately 5 hours and the road was re-opened well ahead of schedule.
