Lifting Bracket System

     

 

The Thomson Rail Equipment Lifting Bracket System is a unique set of products all CE marked and LOLER certificated which provide a certificated lifting point on an excavator crane at the boom end pin regardless of whether or not a quick coupler is fitted to the machine.

The system includes a range of lifting brackets permanently mounted on the excavator and a range of adapter heads which fit all popular rotator sizes.

Lifting brackets come in two types - a deep style for use with a quick hitch coupler and a short type for pinning directly to the boom.  Each of these types is available in a range of safe working loads from 1 to 20 tonnes.

Each bracket has a 35mm diameter lifting point (50mm on brackets over 10 tonnes SWL) for use with a shackle and swivel hook or for pinning to a rotator adapter head.  This system allows any excavator crane to be used for lifting to its full capacity without compensation for errors in the calibration of the safe load indicator system which often occur with other systems, especially those associated with the use of a quick hitch.

When used with a quick hitch the Lifting Bracket can be fixed under the dipper arm when not in use.  This keeps it out of the way whilst digging but ready for immediate deployment.
