Fabric Handler

The Thomson Rail Equipment Fabric Handler is designed for the easy placement of heavy soil stabilisation fabrics such as Geosand.

Hydraulic cylinders force the spindles into the ends of the roll to securely carry the roll. The special bullet nose shape of the spindles ensures that there is no damage to the fabric.

The spindles are mounted on tapered roller bearings to minimise the drag on the fabric as it is unrolled. 

On heavy fabrics this machine has been shown significantly to reduce  time and manpower requirements.
