Signal Head Hoist

  

The Thomson Rail Equipment Signal Head Hoist is an aluminium alloy crane designed for the handling of coloured light signal heads, junction indicators and associated equipment.

It is constructed in 1.8m sections making it light and portable. 

It is equipped with a fail-safe brake winch so that the load is safely under control at all times.

The prototype unit is shown here under evaluation by safety inspectors whilst being used to replace a three aspect coloured light signal head.
