SSB20 Sleeper Handling Beam

The SSB20 Sleeper Handling Beam is designed for the manipulation and precision spacing of concrete sleepers.

The seven sleeper model shown above weighs just 950kg including the rotator and adapter head making it the lightest machine of its kind by 250kg!

Despite its light weight it is strong enough to handle any standard gauge concrete sleeper up to 400kg and is tested at the factory using specially made test weights which mimic sleepers weighing 500kg each.

An automatic hydraulic valve system changes from sleeper grip to sleeper spacing function when the beam is picked up.  This means that only two hydraulic services are required to fully control the device.

• 4 or 7 sleeper option

• Hydraulic rotator or swivel eye connection

• One pin or two pin adapter heads

• Coated grabs

• Sleeper 'gathering' system to squeeze sleepers together before lifting
