Crossing Slab Manipulator

The Thomson Rail Equipment Crossing Slab Manipulator has been designed to eliminate the manual handling of slab-type crossing systems by providing a safe, secure grip over a wide area of the slabs.

This unique piece of equipment - originally developed for Network Rail - is designed to take interchangeable mounting heads and can be fitted to excavators and small loading shovels.

Its design includes pressing blades for insertion of the slabs as well as a clamping fork-lift system for removing and handling of slabs.
